DDR Meisterschaftsendlauf: German Democratic Republic Championship Finals.

The 1951 meeting was held at the Sachsenring for motorcycles, sports and racing cars. The Sachsenring racing circuit is located in Hohenstein-Ernstthal near Chemnitz in Saxony, Germany.

The F3 500cc race was won by Adolf Lang driving a Cooper, the sportscar race by Eberhard de Bary driving a Simca Gordini.

A very rare poster in excellent condition with wonderful post-war graphics still showing it's original fold lines.

An etching is no ordinary print. It is a time consuming and skilled art. Very few motoring artists work in this medium, the examples here are by Peter Hearsey - well known to Goodwood goers as the artist behind all of the Festival of Speed posters since the first event.
