#f1 #art The Bugatti T51 of Achille Varzi (No.10) and the Alfa Romeo Monza of Baconin Borzacchini blast away from the start of the 1933 Monaco Grand Prix. Varzi was to win the race, with Borzacchini second 2 minutes behind. These were the only two cars to complete 100 laps, that's almost three and a half hours of racing around the streets of Monaco! Well known Austrian artist Klaus Wagger will be another artist joining at Race Retro later this week. In this painting entitled "Monaco 33-10" the Bugatti T51 of Achille Varzi and the Alfa Romeo Monza of Tazio Nuvolari do battle. Varzi was to win the race; Nuvolari retired with a blown engine.
