#Ferrari 312PB. #motoring #art The 1971 1000kms of Nurburgring and the Ferrari 312PB driven by Jacky Ickx and Clay Regazzoni. "Out of the Red" by John Ketchell The pair put the car on pole with a time of 7:36.1 but unfortunately did not finish due to overheating problems. The race was won by Vic Elford and Gérard Larrousse driving the Porsche 908/03. Showing his watercolour paintings for the first time at Race Retro, Tony Simmonds will be represented within the exclusive Historic Car Art Gallery. Tony is no stranger to automotive illustration having done magazine illustrations of the subject as long ago as the late 1970's. In this painting the Ferrari of 4th placed Clay Regazzoni leads the Lotus-Ford of Jacky Ickx around Mirabeau during the 1974 Monaco Grand Prix. A limited edition print of this painting will be shown alongside original works by this artist.
