But...these are not reproductions of old posters, they are new contemporary artistic creations with style cues taken from the poster artists and art of the 1920's and 30's. They work very well.  After leaving school Bill Philpot pursued a long and highly successful career as a commercial artist working in London on many of the British advertising industry’s major award winning campaigns. But now he has turned his attention back to subjects which he finds more challenging. Bill has long been an admirer of the graphics and typography of that wonderfully creative period of the nineteen twenties and thirties, particularly the work of the great poster designers like A. M.
